For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
Does this description not remind you of our society we live in these days? People are lovers of their own selves (beholding themselves), wise in their own conceits forsaking the wisdom of God, taking great pleasure in sin, and have no tolerance to hear the truth of God's Word from God's men.
How accurate the Bible is in describing the days in which we live and the latter days of this world in particular..
