James chapter 1 and verses 19 and 20
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
WHY does the great Apostle James tell us in these verses for us to be SLOW to ANGER and slow to SPEAK???
It is because we were created in the image and nature of JESUS and we should strive to have the same mindset of humility and huumbleness, not thinking we are better than anyone else, while we go through this world. Remember that Jesus said the second greatest commandment, not suggestion, is to: Love YOUR neighbor like yourself
We should have as much care and compassionon our neighbors as we do for own selves. WHY? because this is how the heart of GOD is and we were made to be like HIM !!
