James 1: 18
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures
THIS VERSE is speaking about GOD creating MAN after HIS OWN Likeness. It verifies he truth found in the first three chpaters of Genesis about creation.
It also also demonstrates WHO made us: The WORD of Truth !!
JESUS CHRIST is THE WORD ! He is spoken of in this title in numeroud places in scriptures.. Itw as JESUS who spoke and the workds came into existence.. It was the same JESUS, The WORD, who spoke and created all the animals and creatures, and insects and birds and fishes.
It was The WORD who fashioned man out of clay of the earth, and breathed into that form and it became a LIVING SOUL He called ADAM. ALL LIFE sprang forth from the power of The WORD.
James in this verse identifies who the human race's Creator is: The WORD !!
