James chapter 1 and verse 17
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
God only wants the best for HIS own children... He never changes...
Malachi chapter 3, verse 1 says:
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
God is not like us. He does not blow hot and cold or turn against his friends because they have wronged him like we do.. He does not hold grudges and be quick to react or to get even...
HE IS the LORD. Nobody else. HIM. One of God's attributes is that HE NEVER CHANGES. He is stable in ALL HIS ways and is not quick to react and punish. He always wants us to realize when we have done wrong and waits for us to come to HIM and admit (confess) that we were wrong to act like we did and seek HIS forgiveness which HE will grant if we asked in humility and sinerity..
I am so glad that our GOD is NOT like us and have a reactive temperament and be vindictive....
