The U.S. government found no evidence that aerial phenomena witnessed by Navy pilots were alien spacecraft, but still can’t explain the odd sightings.

A government report determined that the vast majority of more than 120 incidents involving unexplained aerial phenomena over the past 20 years did not originate from classified American programs.
The findings concede that much about the sightings remains difficult to explain, including their acceleration, ability to change direction and submerge.
