The mere fact that virtually no one got colds during the past year, with social distancing and masking in place, does not enter their brain matter. They are just bent over backwards trying to assert that people died of the flu not covid, and the lack of flu cases is because of that “fact.”
Well, how about the FACT that the common cold DISAPPEARED TOO?

I used to get a couple or one a year. My last one was in Feb 2020. In early March we all went inside. Now that masks are off and social distancing limited, the common cold will return.
