Congratulations to her and all her support system! So much is behind these graduates...

We helped 2 Granddaughters though, chased 'em down wherever it happened to be.. Now they're into jobs, marriage.. Life is carefully good...

If only the Grandsons would have gotten their acts together, but.. Well, the youngest is still in HS, but maybe a different path, too.. Never know.. Nudge, support, repeat..

We attended the high school graduation of our granddaughter last night. It was held in the school district's football stadium (one of the largest stadiums in the US owned by a public school district, it cost $70 million to build):

They normally hold the graduation inside an arena, but due to the COVID they held them in the open-air stadium so that they could 'socially distance', but then you have to put-up with the weather, and as you can see, it rained and people got pretty wet. We were lucky, we had seats under the overhang but most people had to bring umbrellas or get wet, as most of the students ended-up. Note that there was nearly 1,000 students graduating. Of course, our granddaughter got her diploma early (they were being called-up alphabetically), about 5 or 6 minutes into the list, but then had to wait for the next 900 or so students to get theirs. They projected the ceremony up onto the Jumbotron and I took her picture from there:

We start-back tomorrow morning, with a stop in Waco to have dinner with friends first, so we don't actully head for home until Tuesday morning.
