Re: “Are they still framing or have they started the drywalling and electrical inside yet?”
Still framing.

Everyone liked the Garden Tub we selected but said it was about an inch too big. The builder said he would rebuild the wall separating it from the shower to get more room for the tub. That, it turned out, would have forced us to buy a shower stall that was 6" narrower, making it very tight... The builder elected instead to move the wall on the other side of the tub, a larger wall. That'll make our dining room an inch smaller. Nobody will care. It was then noticed that the window above the garden tub would need to be smaller in order to both look good and not extend behind the wall separating the tub from the shower. So the window needed to be reframed as well.

All because we didn't pick a slightly smaller garden tub. If they'd only told us up front to keep it beneath a certain size...

Hey, but that Garden Tub is going to be great in the winter. I may just live in it. It's huge and we're being careful that it has a lot of hot water. There's nothing worse than a tub so big that it's cold by the time you get it filled!

It will be quite a while before drywall goes up. The house is being built by just one guy, his assistant and whatever contractors they call in, after all. And drywall can't go in until the electrician and plumber are mostly done. They haven't yet started. My guess is that drywall will be toward the end, when the house is nearly complete. Drywall, put in carpet and flooring, paint and ... move in!!! I still think that day will be in 2022.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Moose can stand about 6 plus feet tall to their backs. Imagine how you would feel nnext to an animal that much larger than yourself and his head would be around 7 plus feet high.

Best to take yer pictures from a long distance. That is pretty neat though if you have a moose on yer property..

Yo can look up Moose tracks online and see what they look like. How is the interior of the house coming along?

Are they still framing or have they started the drywalling and electrical inside yet?
Its an exciting time....
