Funeral News!
about a hundred folks came to the VIEWING. There was 6 or 7 masks. None of the funeral home people were wearing them. Oddly the funeral home managed to get everything coordinated in maybe five days from the death. The body is not in a plastic bag and people going near the coffin are not wearing masks and gloves. Dr Farci would crap his pants.
After the viewing we went out to dinner at a local serve yoursel places. Ya still have to wear a mask and a glove when you are visiting the food line. The employees were wearing the required gear. I managed to get some peach cobbler on my plate hand and tried to lick it off thus leaving a large peach cobbler stain on my facemask. Mz ribit got a good chuckle out of that. She seems to enjoy my "biden moments".
I was feeling awful as I noticed how me and my fellow chronologically enhanced citizens didn't look a lot better than the recently deceased. One of my nieces told me how nice I looked and she repeated it several times kinda like she thought I wasn't getting it. "How do you feel" she asks. "Like I am next!" I told her. She told me that the music they were playing was beautiful. "What do you want them to play at your funeral." TOPLESS VOLLEYBALL." I advised.
Back into the breach for a in the ground burial this afternoon. Gonna be a scorcher. I have never been to a funeral on a nice day. It is always too hot or too cold or raining or some other weather malfunction normally reserved for an Al Gore Rally.

Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
