The April jobs report was released today, and here’s a dismal summary:
Axios ~ BREAKING: The U.S. added just 266k jobs in April, way under the nearly 1 million that economists expected as the unemployment rate ticked *up* to 6.1%.

Axios ~ Economists were hoping for a figure roughly 1 million jobs larger — making this the biggest miss, relative to expectations, in the history of the payrolls report.

Charles Payne credited President Biden, and not in a positive way:
Charles V Payne ~ Congratulations President Biden - you have achieved the progressive utopia. At least 7.4 million job openings but only 266,000 people got a job last month.

Turns out paying people not to work has serious consequences, and this is likely just the tip of the iceberg.
Chris N ~ This is what happens when the gov pays people to stay home.
TC ~ Socialist dependency strategy to disincentivize workers creating unmotivated dependents reliant on the government. Far from the America I once knew and loved.
Right out of the Socialist playbook ... disincentivize American workers and make them dependent on government handouts ... and bolster their argument for the importation of more foreign workers that they can add to the voting ranks of the Marxist Democrat Party.

The essential American soul is hard, isolate, stoic, and a killer. It has never yet melted. ~ D.H. Lawrence
