Re: “The BIBLE does not anywhere talk about anybody needing help praying to The LORD or anyone else being able to get in between YOU and The Savior.. THAT my friend was settled in the description above and EVERYONE has access to the Throne of Grace and Mercy directly because of Jesus...”
While I'm no match for you, I've done a little recent reading on this particular subject. Catholics believe that the saints are not dead but fully alive. They can, therefore, be beseeched through prayer to add their prayers to the Catholics' own. Revelations (4:10, 5:8, 6:9-11) shows them engaged in many activities including praying for those still on Earth.

While the Bible does not direct all faithful to pray to the saints, neither does it forbid it. Such was permitted when the saints were on Earth. It remains so when they reside in Heaven.

There is the interesting matter of the Bible's assertion that Jesus Christ is the one and only mediator between humans and God. However, this is contradictory to other verses in which God directs humans to seek the prophets' help:

In a dream, God commanded King Abimelech to ask Abraham to intercede for him: “For [Abraham] is a prophet and he will pray for you, so you shall live” (Gen. 20:7).

It's also clear that God expects us to pray for one another. Catholics therefore believe that asking living [in Heaven] saints for inclusion in their prayers is acceptable. Seems reasonable to me, and the Catholic church is not the only one holding this belief.

It seems that many non-Catholics believe that Catholics are actually worshiping the saints, including Mary, their prayers and statues. This isn't the case. It's a common misunderstanding. Adoration is reserved for God.

De

Prayer is given BY GOD to the CHildren of GOD to communicate in close fellowship WITH HIM.

The REASON the VAIL inside the Temple was torn in half from top to bottom after Jesus said "it is finished" is because when the vail was up, onlythe Great High Priest could enter inside past it and offer up prayer for the people..

After Jesus died on the cross and the blood was spilled that vail was ripped in half from top to bottom and rwemoved by The Father Himself because the blood of Christ has now been applied to all who would come to HIM and the avenue of prayer to GOD by people is now available on a direct and one on one basis.. The power of the Blood of Christ is what cleanses from ALL SIN of every person who ever lived IF a person comes to The Lord and seeks forgiveness and repents of their sins. The word repent means to turn from or agree with how GOD sees your sins, an abomination to HIM. The BLOOD of Christ cleanses us from ALL sin if we ask in humble contrite spirit..
The BIBLE does not anywhere talk about anybody needing help praying to The LORD or anyone else being able to get in between YOU and The Savior.. THAT my friend was settled in the description above and EVERYONE has access to the Throne of Grace and Mercy directly because of Jesus...

If you really want to know where the Bible talks about praying to God I can tell you.. I can give you the references in scripture... It does indeed say that..

Anyway, let me know...or email me....
