Is he what you'd consider a prepper? ,,,,,,,

,LMAO NOT IN THE LEAST. Hes one of those leftist that is able to let $hit roll off his back and everything is wonderful. He buys food as needed. never stock piles any rations. He is so FAR out of touch with what really is going on its scary.. We had a very heated chat a few weeks ago, and I told the old **** Lets get this done so I can get out of here, and you prolly will never see me again. He grabbed me while I was rushing out and gave me a big bear hug and wouldn't let go while he was crying, and saying , I LOVE YOU SO MUCH over and over. That was all bull$hit as is most of what he says...........

SAD!!! it has gotten to this point, and I dont know day to day my future here. I am still looking for a small RV to hit the road, and dont know if I ever will come back here....

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.

Is he what you'd consider a prepper? If so, I'd be curious to know what the scenario is that he thinks will unfold. It can't be the one I'm worried about, Economic Collapse, because no one will be immune to that.

Living in the country provides considerable protection against many things. What it mainly does is to get you away from the gangs that will likely terrorize cities and suburbs when things go to %@$!. Disease is far less of a threat. And food can be grown. But rural proximity doesn't stock shelves, fill gas stations, keep the electricity going or supply hospitals any better than living in NYC or Chicago. There won't be any immunity from the pain. It might be survivable, though.
