Went up to Columbus and then over to Reynoldsburg after that to visit a couple clients. I need to start seeing my existing clients again and checking up on them face to face.. It was a good time to see them face to face again.

My car has had a check engine light on for a couple of weeks now also. The code has indicated an Intake manifold and/or Intake manifold runner motor control valve.

I changed the Intake manifold runner myself. Cleared the codes and drove it. The light came back on after I restarted the car. SO I took it to a very good mechanic shop near me who checked it and said it could be the intake manifold so they wanted to remove it, and inspect it. They did and noticed a missing Lever and called me.. I told them from their description is should be on the floor behind driver seat because it came out when I changed the control.. It was apparetly disconnected from whatever it is supposed to be connected to inside the manifold...

So the hooked it all back up, cleared the memory of the computer, and drove it. Works great.

I drove it on my trip. In Columbus the check engine light came back on. Car still runs smooth and perfectly..

The light is annoying.. My Car averaged 35 miles per gallon on this trip. Not bad for a midsize sedan running around 78 miles per hour..

I took the car back over to the shop when I got back late afternoon. They checked the engine code, cleared it, and asked me if it's time to replace the intake manifold.

Only about a grand to do that. I already paid them $300. for the inspection and ime to remove the intake and replace it.

I said no.. It runs too good.

But I hate to see that engine light.. So I ordered from a Hyundai dealer the intake manifold which comes complete with everything including that Rod for the blade control fans inside the intake.. So all will be new.

Only 300 bucks for the new factory part from a dealership in New Mexico.

I will have another mechanic remove the old one and install the new one. They will be reasonable and fair on that so if they do it for the same $300 the other guys charged I will be $400.00 ahead and may well replace my six year old factory original battery...

Autozone has a great one for only $169.00 with three year free replacement warranty and 850 cranking amps....
Its an AGM type battery which is more money than a non- AGM type...

SO, that was my day...

I was so beat and tired I sat down at 6:00 p.m. and fell asleep. My wife woke me up at bedtime...9:30.

I have to regain stamina. Cannot believe how much that Spine surgery has taken out of me. Never before have I had this much drain on my stamina.. Kind of scary.

So I am taking today and tomorrow off to rest...

Hope you all have ablesed day and do not forget to pray for Mrs. De !!!

So long for now...
