As usual, what you are saying is complete and utter MUSH.

California has a population of about 40 million. As of April 20, 2021, per https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ , California had 1,685,274 active cases of Covid-19. That is a 4.2% infection rate.

Vermont - the very first other state I checked - has a population of about 625,000. As of April 20, 2021, it had 3,453 active cases of Covid-19. That is a 0.55% infection rate.

0.55% is less than 4.2%, OCU.

I can hear you now: "Oh, but that's not what I meant!" Of course it's not. You don't know what you meant.

But maybe you meant that California currently has a lower rate of new infections than any other state. If so, good try. Yesterday, California had 2,583 new cases. Yesterday, Kansas had ZERO new cases. ZERO is less than California's 2,583 and yields a 0% infection rate which California cannot match, OCU.

Finally, consider that California has an enormous number of illegal aliens. While the number can only be guessed (I'm finding estimates as low as 2.2 million in 2016 and as high as 11 million today), the number is high and statistically significant. Something else known to be high is the rate of infection among the illegals. There is considerable evidence that illegals are now the MAIN vector spreading the disease. In California, they make up between 5.5% and 27.5% of the population. On that basis, you SHOULD understand that any number you've heard for California's infection rate is wildly off and is likely far below the reality.

You are an incredibly gullible and foolish man. You seem to lack the ability to question or check anything. It is, frankly, unbelievable to me that you actually have that engineering degree you keep telling us about. Every engineer I've ever known is smarter and more inquisitive than you. If, by some miracle, you ARE an engineer then all I can say is . . . what an embarrassment you are to that fine community.
