... my younger brother, like many of us, has not gotten a Covid vaccine shot and he is looking for all of the even-handed information he can find. His wife has not gotten a shot, his daughters (college age) have not, but his older son has received the vaccine because he is an engineer at a U.S. military base, and quite frankly, I don't think they gave him a choice. Again, like us, he doesn't appreciate overly pushy people from either side (pro or con) trying to use fear tactics. He's adopted a wait-and-see attitude, for now, and tries to keep up with the latest developments, but so much of what he reads is a bunch of fear-mongering, one way or the other. Can you provide me with some links to objective (as objective as possible, anyway) discussions of the benefits and risks of taking the vaccines. He's hoping to find information from a knowledgeable source who does not have an agenda and will dispassionately analyze the good and the bad.
Also, from what he has heard and/or read, he seems to believe that the J&J vaccine is not an mRNA, but I thought that, while it may not be technically an mRNA, it is awfully similar. Do you have a good link that addresses this, too?
I know you have posted a lot about these things, but I simply do not have the time to go back through hundreds of prior posts. If you have some good links readily available without having to spend too much time looking for them, I would appreciate your input, so I can pass them along to him.
