Young Kyle Rittenhouse saw it differently and did that which we are not supposed to do: Defended himself. He's now in a world of trouble. What lesson are typical Americans supposed to take from what's happening to him? We're told that we can defend ourselves, but if we actually do it . . . ?? Let's hope he gets a jury similar to George Zimmerman's, one that understands that Kyle Rittenhouse was ATTACKED and feared for his life.

Now, if just once some patriots were to take up sniper stands and pick off a bunch of the rioters who would harm our neighborhoods, I suspect the rioting would abruptly and perhaps permanently end. ESPECIALLY if the snipers we not caught. That would be a good thing for our nation. Fingers are crossed. Maybe one day. IMO, defending someone else's neighborhood is as legitimate a reason to use firearms as is using them to defend oneself. The brave soul who eventually does this shouldn't be treated like a criminal though I'm sure that's how the press will respond.
