wow. You are a shoe hoarder!
You should never wear shoes that you have worn out and the insloes are not supporting your arches . You are killing your feet, and knees and hips and likely don't know it.
I get it about walking on soft ground. My yard is pretty soft to walk on when I can do that.
However, for me, my life has been spent pounding concrete floors whether at my plant or now other people's plants..
Concrete and hard surfaces are not good for your feet or joints. Trust me. I have damaged all of them over the years.
But for me a well cushioned pair of shoes that is NOT broken down and rovides some spring in my step is perfect as I am often out on factory floors or in offices that have concrete as floors with some sembelence of tile or carpet over them.
As bad as my back and knees are I need to have as much cushioning underneath me to absorb that shock instead of my feet and knees and spine...
So, these aren't for everyone.. If someone walks around a hard concrete walking trail at a park or siply up and down the streets in your neigborhood, these would feel great....
I read really good things anout Hoka One walkiong shoes also . Only problem with them is they are known for breaking down early.
So I went with the Skechers MAX Cushioning. We shall see.
My nephew is driving me up to Cleveland Tuesday to see a couple clients who have needed me there for seevral weeks now so I need to make a day trip...
Leaving at 5:30 a.m. to get there mid morning so we can get back around late afternoon or early evening..
My first client visit since all the proverbial crap hit the fan after what should have been a straight forward surgery.
I guess I should't complain too much as Doc told me six months recovery and I am only almost at month three. Its all the other stuff that happened like the DVT clot below my right knee cutting off lots of circulation in my right calf and having swollen foot and calf all the time, and numbness so I cannot feel either a lot of times.
Then there is the bone on bone righ knee that needs to be replaced so every step I take reminds me I have no cushioning in my knee.. Not a good feeling either.
Hoping these shots I Am taking in the knee will provide some relief there so I can stretch the replacement out to next year...
I have lots to do both at home and with my clients so I cannot indefinitely be inactive. Got to get well without damaging my fusion in my spine..
sorry for the mini series book.... not intended...
