Distrust in the media isn’t a partisan issue.
Ruh-roh.

The Associated Press ~ Americans' distrust of the press goes deeper than partisanship and comes down to how journalists define their very mission, according to a new study from the Media Insight Project, a collaboration between the American Press Institute and AP-NORC. @dbauder

It would appear Americans would rather the media actually report the facts about a story instead of behaving like a bunch of unhinged activists pushing an agenda.
Gosh, we’re shocked.
The Associated Press ~ The study defined five core principles or beliefs that drive most journalists. And it found that non-journalists offer unqualified majority support for only one of them – the idea that the press should provide people with facts.

Well, your first problem is your BS assumption that these are five core principle or beliefs that drive most journalists. Most "journalists" aren't journalists in the first place - they're activist hacks - and, they don't subscribe to any of these principles - they use deception to create leftist propaganda.
Erielle Davidson ~ When I see this graph, all I can hear are the voices of “journalists” *yelling at* a police chief to not refer to a riot as indeed a riot. Journalists don’t care about facts. They care about activism.
An excellent, pertinent example, Erielle.
I got your #Unity right here ~ Because that's the one you assholes have abandoned.
Ding ding ding.
TakingHayekSeriously ~ Journalism is a garbage fire -- the values of journalists suck and uncovering what the deep pathologies are that drive them to suck should be the explanatory goal.
Typhasaurus7 ~ 3 out of the 5 are social justice placeholders to rationalize putting your fingers on the scale to manipulate people.
Yep, that's exactly what #2, #3 & #5 of these so-called "core principles or beliefs" are about - manipulation.
George Bardmesser ~ The problem is that *journalists* don't follow any of these five core principles either. Not one.
Pablo Escobarner ~ So you mean to tell me, overwhelmingly above all things, that people just want to simply be informed of what’s going on and ask that it be presented from a factual basis? *pretends to be shocked*
Right?
We feel shocked.
