Well, yeah.
Think of it this way. This year little boy might
like playing 'dress up' in girls clothes . . .
Next year he might decide playing with toy trucks and
tinkertoys is a lot more entertaining.
But if Momma decides little boy, because this year he
is 'exploring' girls clothes he 'MUST' become a girl,
well, Foisting such a permanent change on a kid
is, well, abusive.
One can take a kid of either sex . . . and destroy them
with surgeries making them look like the other . . .
But the end result is an individual who can be neither
what she/he was born to be.
And a decision of that magnitude should not be made
until the individual is old enough and mature enough
to understand the ramifications.
