What the poor lil' tyke doesn't have the intellectual wherewithal to understand is that the militia reference in the Second Amendment is simply an example of a need that can be met by recognizing the absolute right of the people (all of the individual people) to own, maintain, and use firearms. The Founding Fathers were simply highlighting a benefit of individual gun ownership ... the nation can call upon them to band together and use their individually owned firearms to help defend the nation in time of need. There is no qualifying statement saying that gun ownership has to be group-ownership within the context of a militia.

ZZFART: Where does it say you have an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT TO A GUN?

#msg-1174007

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

...People is the plural of person dickwad. English isn't your first language is it. Have you ever figured out what the difference in a plurality and a majority is?
