Could be the motto for the culture of the western world, which has gone down the road of selling sexy for too long.
Popular culture was way better when talented musicians and actors were feted, instead of beautiful performers (now known as artists) that are willing to take off their clothes.
I realise I sound like a prude, but when will we get bored of seeing one another naked? The sad thing is, surplus nudity makes it unexciting. Its scarcity that makes it interesting.
And it really doesn't endear the west to the rest of the world. I am not sure how we dare lecture other cultures about women's rights, while we incentivise women, in particular, to play to the crowd for money. We don't have the moral pulpit we think we do.
Perhaps we could put clothing into the building back better model.
