It's more expensive than the Pfizer jab so the order is smaller. But 17m jabs will help a lot of people. Since everyone over 50 has been vaccinated (or offered to be vaccinated with a take-up rate of 94%) I assume Moderna will be targetted at the 40-50 age group, which next in line.
Sounds like it is very similar to the Pfizer vaccine.
