A. I did not have to wait AT ALL! Went there at the end of voting day. Not earlier, not before, not any of that.
B. I went inside, found the table where my voting record was, they asked me my name, they opened the book where my entry was, I signed next to my name(a previous signature was there if I remember well) and went straight to the voting booth. I was registered to vote by just being a RESIDENT of the local town!
I consider that to be the model of DEMOCRACY.
I also don’t think it is a bad idea to be registered to vote automatically with your driver’s license, as it happens in Florida. If you do not drive(yes there is a bunch of people who do not), then you can register with the county. Understand that that is a burden for some, especially the poor elderly.
Vote by Mail is even better. I will never walk into any place to vote in FL, especially since the vote in FL includes all kinds of other crap you have to spend at least 15 mins on. It is like a loaded Congress bill.
