BREAKING: MLB pulls All-Star Game from Atlanta in protest over state's restrictive new voting law
The MLB announced Friday that it is relocating this year's All-Star Game and amateur draft out of Georgia in response to a restrictive new voting law in the state.
"Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box," Commissioner Robert D. Manfred, Jr. said in a statement.
