Badically what Walensky said is news, resolution to the question “can vaccinated people carry the virus and not have symptoms or get sick?”
The answer is NO. It seems.
It is still somewhat unclear, though. Does it mean that if you do carry the virus you WILL have symptoms, that there is no way to have it and be asymptomatic? Or is it that you just don’t get infected at all, so you are never asymptomatic? That is unclear in my thinking, because up until now the unvaccinated who were asymptomatic were the main transmission of the virus and still are.
Problem with this is that jackasses like Rand Paul don’t want or seem to understand is that it is new, unseen, little time to figure it out and we proceed with new information every day as assumptions and findings change constantly.
Just wear the fing mask. It’s just not worth talking about it, unless you are stupid and waste your time fighting reality.
