There's the pay-off for an aggressive vaccination programme. Life resumes.
For the US it's mostly Pfizer and Moderna. For us it started out with Pfizer but is now led by AZ, with other suppliers in the pipeline.
The EU, for its own crazy reasons and having trashed AZ with fabricated critiques, seems to be going cap in hand to Putin for the Sputnik jab. They didn't develop and manufacture a decent vaccine of their own in spite of having a larger economy than the US. They find themselves at the back of the queue with their own manufacturers because they didn't write contracts in a timely fashion. And now, everyone has learnt that they are willing to disregard contract law when it suits them, which is disastrous for their businesses.
