France is going back into lockdown. The UK is on the road back to a normal way of life.
Don't wish misery on the EU. But their politicians' condescension and malice towards the UK has become very clear. Maybe they should elect people who want to befriend their neighbour instead of seeking to damage it. Instead of feeling smug while the UK bounded ahead in developing a vaccine response, they should have listened and learned. It really doesn't matter if they overtake our vaccination rate at some point in the future. The pandemic, as a thing of terror, is already under control here. When will that be true in the EU? Maybe when the summer comes and the virus retreats for seasonal reasons? Merkel, Macron and their gang have totally failed. Their exposure is complete.
