BREAKING: USC to pay $1.1 billion to hundreds of women alleging sex abuse by gynecologist as part of civil settlement
The University of Southern California agreed to pay more than $1 billion in settlements to those who accused former student health center gynecologist George Tyndall of repeated sexual assaults on female patients.

Tyndall was arrested and charged in 2019 with sexual penetration, sexual battery by fraud and sexual penetration of an unconscious person in cases involving multiple young women. He has entered pleas of not guilty to the charges and his trial is still pending.
