If you want to see what happen to deaths in a 50%+ vaccinated population [at least one dose], look at UK daily deaths in the chart below. We are down 95% from the summit just a few months ago.

It's astonishing how effective these vaccines are. Not just AZ but, in the UK at least, Pfizer as well.

The hospitalisation figures are also now tiny, so the health system is able to function as normal again.

The economy will reopen pretty soon.

You left out the best bit.

"It showed that the AstraZeneca/Oxford vaccine was 79 percent effective at preventing symptomatic illness, and was 100 percent effective against severe or critical disease and hospitalisation."

So you may get a minor dry cough or a few sniffles.

What most people are concerned about is whether they will go to hospital or die. Zero chance of that. Great result.
