I know they are desperate and hate to look bad. But to break the law because the EU is incompetent is not a good look in spite of the number of deaths on the continent.
The UK can disrupt the EU's supply chain too, as Pfizer pointed out. So no jabs for the EU either.
The EU is also talking about setting aside AZ's patent. Those are fighting words. Again, there are plenty of patent-holders in Europe that will groan at the prospect. Maybe we should let Jaguar use Mercedes technology and not pay for it. Let's rescind the patent on Sweden's diabetes drugs. etc. What's good for the goose.
