75% of republicans think Trump was the real winner, that Joe cheated.

We can't reason with unreasonable people.

Joe is doing everything possible to let people know he's considering all of them, not just dem's.
Some republican citizens seem to be softening.
It's only been 2 months, maybe more time will help them believe him.

I am on board with assuring voting rights. To me, that is constructive and will be remembered well.

It's the endless claims that someone said this or that wrong and that I am the victim of this or that trivial thing that damages the cause you are promoting. It makes Republicans wish to resist. It is what encourages them to make the same sorts of victim claims. It is counter-productive.

If you want to win the argument, show why the future you imagine is a good one, that you are not trying to create a country in which Republicans think they have no place and that their own lifestyles and ideas are going to be trampled. Because the talk of war is exactly what makes them want to do battle too.

There's no path to happiness unless you describe the happy country you wish to live in. It isn't going to be a place in which people say how unfair everything is. It isn't going to be a place where a person is treading on eggshells because everything they say may be construed in a negative way. It isn't going to be a place where people are told to feel ashamed of themselves and their country if they are not.

It's going to be a place where people find something to feel proud of and in which folks have a broad highway for conversation. Otherwise, by all means see the US turn in circles of mutual hatred forever.
