The European assault on Astra Zeneca continues after European nations made the mistake of haggling over price instead of vaccinating its population asap. Decision-making which makes the EU look bad.

Now Norway says three people with low platelet counts had blood clots after receiving the vaccine.

Whereas worldwide statistics show that 17m doses resulted in absolutely normal rates of blood clots.

So, yes, sometimes people prone to blood clots get them around the time they receive a shot.

I think the EU should just give away its AZ vaccine to poor countries. It is clear it doesn't feel the need to provide vaccinations to its citizens in a timely fashion. It elevates solidarity over survival. And vengeance for Brexit over truth.

Another coincidence. European countries are experiencing a third wave of COVID and thousands of additional deaths, while countries with large vaccinated populations like the US and UK are not.
