The Dems need a process for all such cases to shield themselves from press bandwagons, which are a poor excuse for justice. Not just saying that about Cuomo. It should apply always to avoid lynch mob justice.
As far as I am aware, Andrew has no case to answer. He offered to be interviewed as a friendly witness by SDNY in the UK. They turned him down because they wanted him in their clutches in the US. Anyone can see SDNY is looking to save face over its disastrous handling of the Epstein case, and nabbing a foreign prince is how they hope to restore it. Any fool can see that SDNY extorts cooperation from people as part of their standard process. Andrew's foolish but not that foolish. Why should he play that part on their behalf? He's happy to answer questions on UK soil, in which we call SDNY's sort of approach to the law not justice but extortion. If they want him to help them as a friendly witness, as they claim, he is willing to do so. But, for instance, he's not going to cooperate with them in the application of US law to UK territory, which is one of the things they have signalled they plan to do if he visits them.
But the complaint about Meghan bullying her staff is a separate thing which isn't affected by SDNY's attempts to restore its reputation at Andrew's expense.
The palace is entitled to treat complaints of this sort seriously. Especially now that Meghan and Harry are revealed in their interview as wanton liars and publicity seekers. If they are enthusiastic to signal their virtue, let us see if they are as virtuous in private as they claim. If innocent, they will be exonerated. If guilty, then they should pay compensation to their victims. And then, perhaps, learn a useful lesson about their own woke victim claims. Self-righteousness is an unappealing quality.
