I saw that bit of the show online because it is all over the UK newspapers.
Piers Morgan is an odd fish. He has some good qualities and some bad ones. He won the Apprentice in the US which was how he got to know Trump. So he had more of an inside track on him. They were media buddies.
If memory serves, he decided Trump should not get reelected so Trump cut him off.
As regards Meghan, Morgan was a friend of hers before she met Harry. After she met him, she ghosted him so he resents that. At the same time, he learned that she uses people like pawns on her chessboard.
So there's that.
I didn't get my ideas about her from him but I think mine are quite like his. In fact, my view was not fully formed until the interview. I thought she was just a whiner and virtue-signaller before yesterday. Now I have looked more carefully and seen she's a relentless liar. She manipulates the description of events so that she seems to be the victim of others' malice. In doing so she makes them seem villainous. It's a horrible way to behave. But she does it with her own family and now with Harry's, which tells you this is who she is.
So that's what I think and what nearly all of the UK newspapers also think and what Piers Morgan thinks. We've had a few years of her, so we are more familiar than US commentators. My guess is you'll all end up thinking the same thing a few miles down the road.
But right now, she seems like Fay Wray to Queen Kong. Which is a part she plays well.
