The two of them can't even get their story straight about when this supposed conversation occurred. Harry says it was before Meghan was pregnant. She said it was while she was pregnant with Archie.

I don't see that there's a shadow over anyone except Harry and Meghan.

I don't find them credible. Lots of little assumptions and eggshell sensitivities in play. They are unreliable witnesses. What they think happened is coloured by their feelings about what other people are meaning - and it appears to me they are lousy at listening to others, inferring insults where none were offered. They feel entitled, so when they don't get what they demand, they feel angry. They lack empathy and so they don't understand the social landscape around them. And so they misrepresent the facts.

For them, compassion is abstract. It isn't how they treat others. Meghan has fallen out with two families. They appear to have bullied their staff. These are difficult, entitled people thinking they are authentic yokels living in a $14.5m Montecito mansion, saving chickens from the frying pan.

I can rely on the Queen. Not these two attention seekers.

Correction, it was Harry that clarified it wasn't the queen or Phillip, that inquired about what color the baby would be, not Meghan.
