My dad did this for years. He had a pickup and a small camp trailer. He would drive around and if he say a cool spot by a river he would setup camp till he was ready to move on. He always let me know where he was and if he was close I would go camp and visit with him for a few days. Those were some special times...... Rest his soul.......
