As Democrats cleared the way to approve his $1.9 trillion Covid-19 relief package, President Joe Biden vowed to push forward despite Republican arguments that he is spending too much.

Biden also promised to deliver $1,400 stimulus checks, refusing calls from some Republicans to reduce the amount.
