Dominic Pezzola, of Rochester, N.Y., and William Pepe, of Beacon, N.Y., were accused of working together to obstruct and interfere with law enforcement officers protecting Congress during the final certification of the presidential election.

As frightening as it is, it may not reveal much about his intent on the day, except to the extent that he did not have the thumb drive with him in DC. Or about the risk he poses if he is released - it's a bit of a leap to assume he would use that sort of knowledge in the context of awaiting a trial.

For instance, he may be a weirdo preparing for a civil war. But unless there is one, it's just stuff on a thumb drive. Personally, I find these people loathesome and they must answer for their crimes. But I don't think one can know all that much about the risk he poses from this bit of information.
