I am not seeing the bad news in the US numbers. The tide is heading down right now. Statisticians are really lousy at predicting trend changes. So I'm sticking with the trend that things are getting better at the moment in the US.
The 6-8 weeks probably just predicts the seasonal change. When it heats up, the virus weakens.
