Not necessarily. Shorts don't last forever ... the time comes, sooner rather than later, to cover your short. So, the short has to buy back the stock at an inflated price to cover their bet, which causes the share price of the stock to go ever farther up, temporarily. The trick is for the "little guys" to sell right after the shorts have to cover. It's a very risky timing game.

But it looks like a couple of broke dick companies
are going down for the count . . . the hedge funds
are shorting them to make a killing. . . and the
little guys are buying the shares to prop up the
