James Comey: Republican Party 'needs to be burned down or changed'

The remarks came during an interview with The Guardian
Former FBI Director James Comey argued that the GOP needs "to be burned down or changed," likened the Capitol riot to the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, and called the Jan. 6 security shortcomings "a 9/11-size failure" during a new interview.
The interview, in which he criticized President Trump as a liar and his supporters as bad for the GOP, comes roughly a week after the former FBI chief argued that President-elect Joe Biden should consider issuing a pardon for the outgoing commander-in-chief after Inauguration Day.
"The Republican party needs to be burned down or changed," Comey told The Guardian in an interview published Tuesday. "Something is shifting, and I’m hoping it’s the fault breaking apart, a break between the Trumpists and those people who want to try and build a responsible conservative party, because everybody should know that we need one. Who would want to be part of an organization that at its core is built on lies and racism and know-nothingism? It’s just not a healthy political organization."
He compared the Jan. 6 Capitol riot to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, accusing Trump of attacking it "to weaken its foundation" and then setting up a radioactive disaster.
"That’s what you saw on Capitol Hill, our own Chernobyl, when the ugly radioactive violence and racism of America explodes in public view," he said.
And the ensuing chaos made him sick and angry as "an attack on the literal and symbolic heart of our democracy," he said.
"I am mystified and angry that Capitol Hill wasn’t defended," he continued. "It’s a hill! If you wanted to defend it, you could defend it, and for some reason it was not defended."
He indicated that he’s still not sure about the infamous Steele dossier and the salacious allegations within. And he acknowledged President Trump’s charisma but claimed most of what he said was "filled with constant lying."

Comey is the Epitome of bad law enforcement, he's taken back respect that others will have to earn even harder then they normally would require. I have minimal respect for individuals in the Department of Justice or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. For that much I've lost Faith in most of the Law enforcement agencies or debts, because of how individuals have abused their authority and how others either ignored or covered for them, and its not just the bottom tier this goes all the way up to to courts, DA, Judges ( in all categories) and Politicians who all have used the legal system by nefarious means against others just because they could and it either gave them something then or later because of their ability to use the legal system and to manipulate or bend if not break it to their requirements. This is why I dislike how are legal system have been invaded by these so call stewards of ethics and they continue to get away with it because others cover for them.

CYA Comey can't seem to find a position to which he can stick. Isn't he the one that signed the applications to the FISA Court to get the warrants to spy on Carter Page, knowing full well Page was reporting to the CIA?
How many times did he waiver in his position on Clinton, depending on who wwas ahead in the polls?

The greatest damage done to the United States of America is, surprisingly, not done by politicians or the CIA. It was done by James Comey of the FBI.
People expect the politicians and spies to be dishonest. They don't expect the FBI and it agents to be anything short of the finest law enforcement agency in the world. That means honesty.
Without this trust, there is NO ONE in the country an average citizen can depend on to get rid of the evil in our country.
That damage was done by James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strozyk, and the support staff. It can't be undone in our lifetimes.
