FINDINGS:
Alignment: No scoliosis or spondylolisthesis.

Bones: Five non-rib-bearing lumbar vertebral bodies are present. No fractures or bone lesions. Mild bilateral SI joint ostearthritis is present.

Disk Levels/Facets:
T11-T12: Anterior endplate spurring is present.

T12-L1: Anterior endplate spurring is present. A small right foraminal area protrusion causes minimal right foraminal narrowing.

L1-L2: Mild bilateral facet osteoarthritis and a broad-based disk bulge cause mild spinal canal and minimal bilateral foraminal narrowing.

L2-L3: Mild disk height loss is accompanied by anterior endplate spurring. A broad-based disk bulge, moderate ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, and moderate bilateral facet osteoarthritis cause severe spinal canal and mild bilateral foraminal narrowing.

L3-L4: Mild disk height loss is accompanied by anterior endplate spurring and endplate sclerosis. A broad-based posterior disk/osteophyte complex, moderate ligamentum flavum hypertrophy, and moderate bilateral facet osteoarthritis cause moderate spinal
canal, mild right foraminal, and severe left foraminal narrowing. Multiple endplate erosions appear progressed compared to the prior examination. The edges of the erosions are not smoothly marginated.

L4-L5: Severe disk height loss is at L4-L5. There is endplate spurring, endplate sclerosis, and multiple endplate erosions. The erosions appear stable compared to the prior examination. Note that there is vacuum phenomenon within the anterior epidural
space posterior to L4-L5.

L5-S1: A broad-based posterior disk protrusion and moderate bilateral facet osteoarthritis cause minimal spinal canal and mild bilateral foraminal narrowing.

Musculature: Normal. No fatty atrophy.

Other: Arterial calcifications indicate atherosclerosis.

Realist - Everybody in America is soft, and hates conflict. The cure for this, both in politics and social life, is the same -- hardihood. Give them raw truth.
