That’s the problem. No one is telling the truth. Dems and Repugs are talking past each other, and basically misinforming everyone. Toomey should have said that months ago, from the first stimulus. Spend the money wisely, more money even to those going in lines in the dark of night to get free food because they have none, those who are on the verge of being evicted, etc.

People on steady incomes should get nothing, except for those who lost loved ones.

It is an insane gift in an America that does stupid things day in day out 24/7. That’s why that cretin on POPE suggested to the other cretins a number of handguns under $600 to buy with their $600 gift.

What a freaking country this is. Everyone for themselves, no sense of responsibility or decency.

IMO, unless you've been on unemployment this year, or lost a family member to Covid, why should you get the aide?

Even if you're back to work now, you're probably still trying to catch up. And the victims had to be buried, another financial burden, they deserve help.

Retirees, including myself, government workers that haven't missed a paycheck, along with others that have been able to work shouldn't really qualify.
