I've always thought being colour blind was a reasonable position for the GOP to take. I'm not persuaded by affirmative action, except where the reverse is clearly present, and only for short periods of transition.
But the Trump thing, where he race baits using Trump code, is not.
Republicans, 'white' folks fear becoming the minority in 2040. This crystalized after Obama won 2 elections.
Race has always been our Achille heel, and with the murders of blacks by police, videoed, many white people have united & demanded change. Together we have a better chance.
