Our son made it home tonight. From the time he left home this morning, until he was back home with a new hip joint, he was gone for less than 12-hours. Amazing when you think about it. Apparently they decided to not use the infusion pump to manage the pain and instead put him on oral pain killers. He starts outpatient physical therapy on Friday.
