This is a smart and good thing for ANY U.S. steel Mill to do. Mini Millsa re so much betterand safer than all the old mills we use here. We installed these types of Mills in Japan when we helped them get back on their feet after WW2. Mini mills should help bring down the cost of steel
and they are much quicker to turnaround the particular grade and type of steel alloy being made...
I am surprised that it has taken them this long to do it but am glad to see it happening..
A word of note.. The MINI Mills in northern state of Mexico that produce electrolystic Tin plated steel make a much better quality and lower cost product than our American producers of this.. That's a an absolute fact...
American steel producers MUST catch up in terms of the equipment which also will cut down on employees being injured and hurt..
