It's a great relief to see the Pfizer vaccine already stored in freezers in Britain.
Apparently the US didn't take the risk of pre-ordering a complete supply. And now that the vaccines work, it wants to go to the front of the queue.
This is the kind of thing Americans don't notice much. But it does help explain why Americans are surprised that people from other countries think it has no pulpit from which to lecture the world about morality and the level playing field of international law.
