So was mentioned earlier today on Morning Joe.
The reason is that within two days they can create an mRNA vaccine to respond to any virus, once its DNA is sequenced just as it was done with Covid very early on. They had the vaccine last February, and started trials in March. Of course, we have to take this with a grain of salt as they have not done that, or not been able to do that with the HIV virus. Don’t know why, maybe because it is changing constantly? But, anyway, it will be interesting to see how all this develops.
Speaking of long term effects, we have to consider that those who participated in the early trials have not turned into flies, YET, so that is good news too. There are long term data already, it is just not a big number of people.
