I watched the certification meeting live on YouTube. They had a public comment segment where people could call and they had two minutes to comment on the proceedings. After about a dozen citizens had spoken, 100% of which were in favor of immediate certification and because there were over 500 calls in the Que, the chairperson moved to close the public comment segment and immediately move to a vote, which they did.
Note that the Michigan Board of State Canvassers is made-up of four members, two Democrats and two Republicans. The final vote was three for certification with one abstention. The vote has been certified.
