The strongest argument the GOP has against immigration?
Fox News was started by an immigrant. It took him a bit more than a few decades to destroy the US, but he has succeeded in damaging whatever held it together to the point where there's not much left of the fabric that unites the states to one another.
One can point out what is going on, provide the unpleasant-tasting medicine, and so on. But the US is going to go down the path of its own destruction, whatever anyone says, if that is where it wants to go.
